Animal Communication Readings
Areas of Support
While I have a personal affinity for cats and service animals, I work with all types of animals. I’ve read cats, dogs, horses, wolves, rabbits, birds, and I’m open to all others animals with whom you might feel a connection or be in relationship.
Below are a few focus areas that we can explore in our session together. If there's something not on this list you're wondering about, please use my Contact Form and we can find a way forward together.

As a therapist and a veteran, working with service and working animals is truly a soft spot for me (I mean, honestly, it’s my absolute jam and I’m honored to do it!).
Whether your animal is:
a horse providing equine therapy or retreats
a personal service animal
a therapy animal who works in mental health, hospice care, etc.
a military working dog
a search & rescue animal
…I’m here for those deeper conversations about the partnership itself. In this work, I’m not just tuning into the animal’s experience — I’m looking at the relationship as a whole. These bonds are layered, sacred, and often carry real responsibility on both sides. Together, we explore how to strengthen your connection so your animal can thrive in their role, and so their well-being actively supports the work they do.
We can also hold space for the bigger-picture questions: quality of life, work–life balance, considering retirement, or navigating the next phase of life.
For folks considering transitioning their pet to service animal work - we can check to make sure that's what your companion wants, what might be the best fit, and what their role would be (essentially, ensuring compatibility to what you, as the human, might be intending for the animal).

I also offer readings focused on your animal’s overall satisfaction and sense of purpose. In these sessions, we explore how your animal is truly feeling about their life, what’s fulfilling them, what may feel out of balance, and how aligned they are with the role they’re here to play. Whether they’re a beloved companion or have a specific job, we gently look at how they’re living out their purpose and what adjustments might help them feel more content, expressed, and at ease.

Scratching. Going outside the litter box. “Bullying” another pet. Barking. Aggression. The behaviors that make you think, what is going on?
One of the first things I’ll say is this: your animal’s behavior always makes sense to them. There is always a reason. Even if it feels irrational or frustrating to you, it is logical from their perspective.
Animal communication helps us understand the why behind the behavior. When we understand the why, we can begin working toward a solution together. Often, when animals feel heard and understood, shifts naturally happen. That said, there are no guarantees. Animals have free will. Sometimes they don’t want to change. Sometimes the situation influencing the behavior needs to change, and their human may or may not be ready for that.
In some cases, especially with longstanding or complex behavioral patterns, more than one session can be helpful. Some animals also benefit from additional energetic support alongside communication.
The goal isn’t to “fix” your animal. It’s to understand them. And from that place of understanding, real change becomes possible.

Medical Mediumship
Sometimes you just know something is “off.” Maybe your vet has said they’re not entirely sure what’s going on. Maybe your animal seems lethargic, uncomfortable, or just not like themselves, and you’re wondering if it’s physical, emotional, or a mix of both.
In a medical-focused reading, I tune into what your animal is experiencing in their body and energy. The intention isn’t to diagnose or replace veterinary care, but to offer clarity, insight, and a deeper understanding of what may be contributing to what you’re seeing.
When appropriate (and if your animal is open to receiving it) I often include what’s called a cellular healing. This is a gentle energetic offering meant to support the body, ease discomfort, and bring relief to the area or issue in question.
If you’re looking for ongoing or targeted energetic support for a known medical condition, you can explore my Reiki offerings for more specific healing sessions.
As always, the focus is understanding, support, and working alongside your animal’s existing care, not replacing it.

When animals are diagnosed with terminal medical issues or are approaching the end of life, my work often shifts into a space that’s part animal communicator, part death doula. These sessions are about connection, clarity, and reassurance during an incredibly tender time.
Common questions I help people explore include:
Has my animal finished everything they came to do? Is there anything else they want to experience?
Are we making the right decisions about their care?
Do they want to be euthanized, or do they prefer to pass naturally?
Is my animal in pain?
The goal is to understand your animal’s wishes and help you feel supported in making compassionate choices. The insight gleaned from these sessions can inform conversations with your veterinarian about pain management and quality of life. My guidance never replaces veterinary care; it’s an adjunct way to deepen connection, clarity, and peace for both of you during this transition.

Incorporating New Family Members
Bringing a new animal into your home is exciting AND stressful - I’m very grateful to you if you’re considering asking your current animals’ opinions before making any decisions. Every animal is an individual, and their preferences, personalities, and comfort levels really matter. In these readings, I help explore how your existing pet feels about a potential new companion and how the family dynamic might shift.
We can check in with both animals (existing and potential new addition) before adoption to see if they’re likely to be a good fit, or how a new pet might integrate into your household.
If you’re adopting, I’ll help clarify what your current pet needs in a companion (e.g. ideal personality, role, and boundaries) so everyone’s needs are considered. And if it looks like a particular match isn’t right, I’ll let you know clearly. The goal is a smoother transition, happier animals, and a harmonious household where everyone feels understood.
Note: I do not provide support with lost animals. Please see the Resources page for who to reach out to for help finding your lost pet.
